What are advanced points of Prostamol vs. other prostate supplement products?

How old should I start taking Prostamol? Is it suitable for young male adult?

If I forget to take Prostamol, shall I take two pcs in the next day?
Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten one. Given that serenoa repens seem to act with a long term mechanism of action, it does not appear justified to take an additional dose for a missed one.
Why is it recommended to take the product after meals? Are there any contraindications to taking it on an empty stomach?
Prostamol is recommended after meals because all the lipid-sterol extracts of Serenoa Repens, taking it on an empty stomach may occasionally cause minor abdominal discomfort, such as nausea and abdominal pain. So the advice is to minimize the risk of this type of disorders, related to oral intake of the product.
Do I have swallowing problems, is it possible to divide the capsule of Prostamol and ingest the contents?
No, the capsule is designed to be swallowed as is, as its contents are liquid.
Does Prostamol contain gluten and / or lactose?
No, Prostamol does not contain gluten and lactose.
Could Prostamol used for BPH improvement?
We cannot suggest the use of Prostamol for this indication given that Prostamol is a food supplement. If you are experiencing the symptoms, we suggest you to consult your doctor.
Could Prostamol used together with LUTs Rx product?
There are no reported interactions with the drugs commonly used for LUTS.
I am taking other RX drug, e.g.: Cholesterol control drug, can I still take Prostamol?
Prostamol is made of saw pametto, a plant extract and is not known to cause any drug interaction. However, if you are taking any drugs for blood pressure, cholesterol or blood thinning products, please consult your doctor before taking Prostamol. Medical advice is recommended to evaluate any single case.
I take anticoagulant and/or antiplatelet drugs, can I take Prostamol?
If you are taking anticoagulant and / or antiplatelet drugs (such as warfarin, clopidogrel, acetylsalicylic acid and other NSAIDs), you should contact your doctor before taking Prostamol. In fact, their action could be enhanced with an increase in the tendency to bleeding.
Can Serenoa Repens increase blood pressure?
Rare cases of increased blood pressure have been reported during clinical trials; therefore, regular blood pressure monitoring is recommended when using products based on Serenoa Repens.
What are the most frequent side effects that may occur when taking Serenoa Repens?
Generally, Serenoa Repens preparations are well tolerated. The most frequent minor adverse events are gastrointestinal (abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea).
